Washington Providers Have a Business Edge
Child Care Aware of Washington
Child Care Aware of Washington is a nonprofit working to improve the quality of child care and early learning programs across Washington so that every child in our state has access to high-quality care. As a statewide organization working with six regional nonprofit agencies, we reach child care providers and families in every county in Washington, and connect thousands of families to licensed child care every day. In 2019 we are celebrating our 30th year as Washington’s most trusted child care resource.
Together with our partner agencies, Child Care Aware of Washington works side-by-side with child care providers to help them improve their quality, and we provide higher education scholarships to child care professionals and outreach to parents and family, friend and neighbor caregivers. We deliver the means to make a positive difference for all children, including those furthest from opportunity. We also help families with young children experiencing homelessness find licensed child care at no cost to them for up to four months.
We are committed to ensuring that each and every child in Washington, regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, culture, primary language or economic status, has access to the quality care and early learning they need to succeed in school and life.
